On 15. January 2010 the new world-wide standard ISO 29990 Learning services for non-formal education and training - Basic requirements for service providers was unanimously approved by all P-members of the ISO committee ISO/TC 232. Now ISO 29990 has the status of an Final Draft International Standard.
Our managing director Mr. Jürgen Heene took part at the mentioned meeting as member of the German delegation.
July 2009: The draft international standard ISO/ DIS 29990:2009 is released.
On 18., 19. and 20. March 2009 the fourth meeting of the working group 1 "Economy-oriented training" of the ISO committee ISO/TC 232 "Learning services for non-formal education and training" took place in Tokyo/ Japan. The result is a document to prepare the draft international standard.
On 09., 10. and 11. April 2008 the second meeting of the ISO committee ISO/TC 232 "Learning services for non-formal education and training" and its working group 1 "Economy-oriented training" took place in Philadelphia/ US. Our managing director Mr. Jürgen Heene was appointed as one of the German representatives (DIN). He assumed the coordinator of the subgroup 1. A draft main structure and the field of application of the new standard were adopted. The next meeting will take place in Sydney/ Australia in November 2008.
On 24. January 2008 our managing director Mr. Jürgen Heene related to the international standard acitvities ISO/TC 232 "Learning services for non-formal education and training" at the final meeting of the RKW project "Transnational partnership of quality" in the German states Brandenburg and Berlin.
First inspection body for services API euroinspect ® has been established in Berlin in December 2007.
On 12. and 13. October 2007 the first meeting of the new established working group 1 "Economy-oriented training" of the ISO committee ISO/TC 232 "Learning services for non-formal education and training" took place in Berlin. Our managing director Mr. Jürgen Heene was appointed as one of the German representatives (DIN). One result was a draft main structure of the new standard. The next meeting of the working group will take place in Philadelphia/ US.
On 26. and 27. March 2007 the first meeting of the new established ISO committee, ISO/TC 232 "Learning services for non-formal education and training" took place in Berlin. 34 experts from across Europe, the US, Asia and Australia met to start developing a new standard on Germany's initiative. This standard will deal with aspects of organization, didactical methods, requirements for instructors, techniques of knowledge acquisition and transfer, and measuring customer satisfaction.
The draft name of the new international standard is "Learning services for non-formal education and training - Basic requirements for service providers".
All the special German activities in this field like AZWV, LQW, BQM or other have to take the new standard to be developed into account henceforth.
